A Decade in the Making: Bold Ideas Take Center Stage at TECH PLAN Demo Day in the Philippines 2026

Guided by its mission of advancing science and technology for global happiness, Leave a Nest Philippines continues to strengthen the country’s growing deep-tech ecosystem through meaningful collaborations among researchers, startups, corporations, and academic institutions.

Now celebrating a decade-long presence in the Philippines, TECH PLANTER continues to serve as a platform for passionate innovators developing science- and technology-based solutions that address pressing societal challenges. Through the program, teams gain access to Leave a Nest’s global knowledge platform, opening opportunities for prototyping assistance, IP strategy consultation, and investment opportunities across the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond.

On May 30, 2026, Leave a Nest Philippines will host the TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2026 Demo Day at the Frassati Auditorium, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Building, University of Santo Tomas, Manila, bringing together innovators, ecosystem builders, investors, researchers, and industry leaders for a full day of deep-tech presentations and collaboration opportunities.

Program

The TECH PLAN Demo Day will officially begin with registration, followed by opening ceremonies, a keynote speech, finalist presentations, lightning talks, poster sessions, and the awarding ceremony. The event will conclude with judge messages, closing remarks, and an official group photo session.

Finalists and Lightning Talks

This year, the program received 46 applications from teams across the Philippines, showcasing a diverse range of innovations spanning agriculture, sustainability, clean energy, marine technology, accessibility, and emerging technologies. From these applications, nine (9) finalist teams and six (6) lightning talk teams were selected to present their technologies during Demo Day.
